Why not give something back this Christmas with WaterAid
Posted on 25 December 2007 by Stuart
Lot’s of people round the world will have received presents today and sat down to a lovely christmas meal with family, lest we forget though that thousands of less fortunate people all round the world do not even have basic sanitation or easily accessible supplies of safe fresh water.
WaterAid works with people in 17 countries in Africa, Asia and the Pacific region to improve their quality of life through lasting improvements to water, sanitation and hygiene education using local skills and practical, sustainable technologies.
Here at P2PViNE we decided to donate $50 from our advertising revenue to the water aid charity, hopefully if you are reading this post and have a few extra $’s from the festive period you will consider doing the same. As the developed world continues to output more fossil fuels gases the water situation in other countries will suffer due to rising world temperatures, you can help improve lives now and in the future for a few dollars. Think of all the content you have downloaded this year from file sharing networks for free, clear you conscience of being tagged as a pirate by giving something back to charity instead of corporations.

Hey there – just a swift line of thanks and honour. Very striking site you have here. Thanks a lot! I really dig the tuneage and it has helped me get through a lot of things. I’m listening to Jets by McCartney right now. Do you like that song?
