Investigators in germany have seized ten servers involved in the distrubution of large amounts of copyrighted material in return for payment including games, movies, music and software. No one can deny the buzz that the photo’s of the new Harry Potter book “Deathly Hallows” has caused this week after being leaked onto p2p networks, from fans frantically transcribing the leaked photos into text to The Pirate Bay providing their usual brand of tom foolery with their main page logo picture linking to a torrent of the book. The original photographer wont be having as much fun though since it was reveled that the EXIF data was still present in the photo’s meaning the photographer’s camera can be traced. [...more]
