Frontlines: Fuel of War Hamachi Howto

Here is a quick guide to start playing Frontlines: Fuel of War over Hamachi.
To enable the in-game console do the following:
-go to the gamefolder\GCGame\Config\DefaultInput.ini
-RightClick, Properties and untick read only
-change (on the top of the File)
[Engine.Console]
; — Set TypeKey=SemiColon to bind mini-console to ;
TypeKey=
; — Set ConsoleKey=Tilde to bind ~ to console
ConsoleKey=
-replace with:
[Engine.Console]
; — Set TypeKey=SemiColon to bind mini-console to ;
TypeKey=SemiColon
; — Set ConsoleKey=Tilde to bind ~ to console
ConsoleKey=Tilde
When in the game open up the console with ` and enter:
open “hosts address”
Where “hosts address” will be replaced by the hosting players Hamachi address.
For example: open 5.113.22.123
To join a network you will first need to know who is running one. Planethamachi is the most used site for such purpose and you just need to enter the name of the game (Frontlines) you want to join and a list of public networks will show up.
You can also install the latest FFOW game patches and it will still work, just make sure the host runs the same version.

and then what I dont see any servers. Is this supposed to join me to the host or just make him show up in LAN browser.

You wont see any servers, if the host ip entered is up the map will start to load so make sure that someone is hosting

Hi, thx for the guide. My promblem is that when I put the “open 5.113.22.123″ in the console the game freeze for 1 sec and then nothing happens! I am sure the IP is correct, it is listed in the planethamachi. Maybe becouse I have Vista I have to disable something from the extra security?

hello, does somebody knows how can i host a game?
because if i host the normal way it sais: game session not longer availeble when my friend tries to join it with the console.
